A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraising for The British Red Cross today by wearing non-uniform, making or buying cakes and donating money. We raised over £450 to support their work, which is an amazing effort by our school community. Thank you TeamSbS.
We had the first of our Swan’s Nest special events today - a pyjama party! The children (and adults) had a great time playing games and having fun.
Our Years 4 and 5 had a wonderful time at the Queen Elizabeth High School STEM fair this morning. They loved getting involved in all the activities and came back to school buzzing. Thank you to everyone involved in organising and hosting the event.

Today was the second of our Friday afternoon Parent and Carer Sharing Times, where our children are able to share their learning with their parents and carers. It is wonderful to have our school community back together in the building again.
We are incredibly proud of all of our children who took part in Bikeability this week. They were praised not only for their cycling skills and the improvements they made, but also for their impeccable behaviour and wonderful attitude.
The classes have paired up today to carry out a range of scientific experiments as part of our Science Investigation Day. The children loved working and learning with children in other classes and getting involved in practical science investigations.
Today was the final game in our house Connect 4 competition. It was an incredibly closely fought contest, with Oak being crowned champions. Well done to everyone who took part and represented their house. Next week will see the start of the house football competition.
