Our school choir enjoyed taking part in the Illuminate Parade in Gainsborough this evening. We watched a great performance about the Mayflower Pilgrims, took part in the parade and then sang for all the visitors.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Children in Need fundraising. We raised a fantastic £255, including a donation from Sturton Cygnets. The School Council organised the fundraising, including cake sale, art competition, 'round pound' collection, and a pyjamas and onesie day.
It has been a privilege to host Yan and Vincent at Sturton for the last. 2 weeks. They have shared loads of great ideas with our staff and children. It has also been wonderful to share the experience with hundreds of colleagues from other schools.
Well done done to all the children who took part in the cross country competition this afternoon. Great running and fantastic teamwork from all.
