Pupil Premium funding is an initiative to help to narrow the academic gap between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged children and to provide extra support where required. Each year the school receives an allocation of Pupil Premium funding.
Sturton by Stow Primary School receives additional funding for children that receive or have received income based Free School Meals during the last 6 years, are (or have been) ‘looked after’ or are the children of parents that serve in the armed forces.
Sturton by Stow Primary School is dedicated to ensuring that all of our pupils receive help, support and guidance according to their individual needs. This is first addressed through quality first teaching. In addition to teaching, we are able to offer additional support to vulnerable pupils.
