Yesterday, Cookery Club enjoyed their last session making Halloween themed white and milk chocolate crispy cakes. They have taken home a recipe booklet of all the things they have made at school in case they want to try them out at home. #TeamSbS
At lunchtime today, we held our house cross country competition. Despite the weather, lots of children took part and completed the race with a smile on their face.
Well done to Horse Chestnut who won!
Today we welcomed a Roman Soldier into school. He spent time teaching the children about life in the Roman Army and taught them many skills.
We had another great visit from our Patron if Reading Gareth Baker today. He led a whole school assembly, worked with each class, helped with the relaunch of our little library and then led a staff meeting.
As part of our partnership with a school in Uganda, Spitfires have found out where the school is and have written letters to the Ugandan children describing the views from their classroom windows. #Uganda #InternationalLinks πΊπ¬π¬π§
We are incredibly excited to be partnering a school in Uganda. Our Year 6s have researched where the school is, on the edge of Lake Victoria.
We will then be taking part in a literacy project with a group of local schools and Ugandan schools.#InternationalLinks #Uganda πΊπ¬
We had a great day of volleyball with @PremierEdLincs today. The children learnt new skills and had lots of fun!

On Thursday, we hosted our football tournament. It was great to see the children enjoying competitive sport again. Congratulations to all who took part; you represented your schools amazingly, and thanks to all who helped it run so well.
