We had a great time today dressing in bright clothes to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Thank you to everyone who took part.
In response to COP26, all of our children thought about actions they could take against climate change in their everyday lives, and then made their own and class pledges which we added to our climate change tree.
We have had a great day focusing on aspiration and learning all about careers in the NHS (there are over 350 different jobs). The children also prepared their entries for the NHS Health Careers competition.
We launched our Anti-Bullying Week by taking part in Odd Socks Day and sharing an assembly all about being kind to others and treating everyone with respect. We agreed that we will all try to remember to show kindness to each other every day. #OneKindWord #TeamSbS
Yesterday, we invited our children to wear something red to support the work of the Royal British Legion. We raised over £100 (which was counted by our school council treasurer) in addition to the money raised through the sale of poppies and other merchandise. #RemembranceDay
