  • Goodbye Year 6

    Today we said goodbye to our fantastic Year 6 children. We loved sharing the children’s memories of their time at Sturton. 
    Thank you to their families for all your support - we will miss you all. 
    Good luck Year 6 - enjoy the next part of your journey.

  • Year 6 Bowling

    Year 6 had a great time at their leavers bowling this evening. They then went back to school for the end of year disco. 

  • The Greatest Show

    A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved in the Key Stage 2 production of ‘The Greatest Show’ over the last two evenings. The children were incredible and wowed us with their many talents. 

  • Fil Kamps Visit

    We have had a wonderful day with Fil Kamps (deaf footballer) and Mintridge Foundation. The children and adults were inspired by Fil’s story and were amazed at how well they could communicate without talking! The children’s faces show how much they enjoyed the day.

  • Potato Book Characters

    Well done to everyone who took part in our competition to create a book character from a potato! 
    We were amazed by the creativity and skill demonstrated, and the reading ambassadors had a tough job choosing the winners. 

  • Football Champions

    Today we hosted our annual football tournament (paused during the pandemic). Thank you to all the schools who took part, and well done to our wonderful teams. All the children played brilliantly and we were delighted to win both the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 trophies. 

  • Sports Day 2

    Today we had our second Sports Day, this time for Tiger Moths, Red Arrows and Vulcans. It was great to have family and friends there to watch. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation.
