I am delighted to welcome you to our school website.

At Sturton by Stow Primary School we value each individual child, and work together to enable all children to thrive and to achieve their very best.  We pride ourselves on our positive and friendly ethos, and strive to ensure that every child is cared for, feels safe and has a true sense of belonging.  

We are highly committed to working with families and the wider village community, to provide the best possible education for our children.  In addition to achieving high academic standards, we have a fun and exciting curriculum, through which we encourage all children to develop a range of skills and talents, including opportunities to develop interests in sport, music and art.  We take great pleasure in celebrating the successes of all children in the school, and in developing their genuine love for learning, their future aspirations and their positive attitudes which will continue throughout their lives.

Our core values are Learning, Caring, Friendship, Responsibility and Aiming High, which are fundamental to everything we do in school.  Our ethos is represented in our vision statement which the staff, governors and children have created together: “Small enough to care, big enough to inspire”. 

I believe that it is a privilege to be part of the learning and the growth of the children who come to Sturton by Stow Primary School.  Our children, staff, parents and the wider community are rightly very proud of our school.
