Design Technology
Our Design and Technology curriculum is structured so that there is opportunity for repetition to consolidate technical knowledge and the development of key skills in designing, making and evaluating. We follow a two year rolling programme, with planned progression meaning children are taught new concepts and skills and are increasingly challenged as they move through the school. Design and Technology is taught in each year group as a stand-alone subject but also used to enhance and draw on other areas of the curriculum such as mathematics, science, computing and art.
