Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We had a fabulous Sports Day for Tornadoes, Lancasters and Spitfires this afternoon. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation. We also loved having family and friends there to watch this year!
Thank you to everyone who organised, helped out at and attended the Fossa Summer Fayre on Friday. It was wonderful to hold an event like this once again.
We raised about £900, which is a great contribution to our toilet refurbishment appeal.
We have had a great 3 days at PGL.
The children have overcome fears, stepped out of their comfort zones, worked in teams, supported each other and had loads of fun.
They have gone home tired, hot and a little bit mucky, but also filled with wonderful memories.
A plain area of our corridor has been transformed by the addition of these fantastic maps to support our geography learning.
We also have a wonderful map in our playground showing where Sturton is.
Huge thanks to FOSSA for funding the maps, and for all they do for our children.
Spitfires and Lancasters had a great morning starting ‘The Game of Actual Life’, where they have had to choose a career, understand their income and know what makes a good interview! Thank you Premier Education, we’re looking forward to the rest of the sessions.
We enjoyed making the most of the beautiful weather and our fabulous outdoor space with lots of fun and friendship at break time and lunchtime today.☀️
We have had a brilliant and fun packed day with author Gareth Baker and illustrator Vicky Kuhn. Thank you both for sharing your work with the children and for inspiring them. Thank you Gareth for all you have done with us this year in your role as our Patron of Reading. #teamSbS
Yesterday, Spitfires had a brilliant visit from the Mental Health Support Team to discuss their emotions about moving up to secondary school. With one term left at Sturton, they really enjoyed using a safe space to discuss any worries or questions.
