Lunchtime and after school clubs started again this week. Today the older children enjoyed the start of the house connect four competition and Tiger Moths enjoyed colouring club.
We had an incredible time at Lincoln City Football Club this afternoon. Some of our children got the chance to welcome the players and officials onto the pitch at the start of the match.
Some of our recent work about aspirations was also featured in the match day programme.
For the latest Embrace Challenge, the children have been learning about the rights of children, including refugees. They have thought about why children’s rights are important and what they mean for us and for others.
This week all of our classes have been focusing on our mental health. They have particularly been thinking about their own growth both physically and emotionally. There have been lots of great discussions and the children have produced some beautiful work.
Today, Spitfires and Lancasters had a fantastic time taking part in a mock trial with the Magistrates in the Community. It was great for them to learn about the juvenile court system and make a decision about their case!
All of the classes spent time today focusing on the importance of staying safe online. There were loads of great discussions and demonstrations of knowledge about internet safety. #SaferInternetDay
The children have loved being able to hold the League 2 trophy. Thank you to Lincoln City Football Club for lending it to us for the week!

It was great to take part in the Utilita Kids Cup schools tournament with Lincoln City Foundation yesterday.

We have loved having more parents into school to talk about their jobs and careers. Our visitors have included: a nurse, an engineer, a conservation manager, a radiographer and an IT specialist. Thank you to everyone who has given up their time.
