  • Santa visit

    Thu 17 Dec 2020
We had a very special message from Santa for our children today. His helpers then delivered presents to each of the classes. If your children were not in school today, their gifts will be waiting for them in  January.
Thank you FOSSA for the gorgeous baubles.
  • Christmas Productions

    Thu 17 Dec 2020

We are very proud of our virtual Christmas performances. With no nativity and no Carol service this year, we have had to do things a little differently. We hope these bring you some festive cheer.

  • Christmas Parties

    Wed 16 Dec 2020
The children (and staff!) loved their special Christmas party lunch today - fishcake and chips or sausage and chips. They then enjoyed their afternoon of party fun and games in classes.
  • Christmas Jumper Day

    Fri 11 Dec 2020
We had a very colourful school on Friday - there were lots of Christmas jumpers and accessories on show!  Thank you to everyone who donated to raise money for Save the Children.
  • Twinkle the hedgehog

    Thu 10 Dec 2020
We had an unexpected visitor in school yesterday morning.  When we heard a rustling in a cupboard, we didn’t expect to find a hedgehog tangled up in some Christmas lights! Thank you to the Wildline Wildlife Sanctuary for taking him in, checking him over and naming him Twinkle.
  • Cross country success

    Mon 07 Dec 2020
Well done to all the children who took part in the inter-school cross country competition, and congratulations to all the medal winners. It is great that schools are finding new ways to take part in competitive sport even with the current restrictions.
  • Our new library

    Fri 04 Dec 2020
It has been exciting watching the refurbishment of our school library over the last few weeks. It is now almost finished, and we are looking forward to seeing the children enjoying using it and developing their love of reading. Thank you to everyone involved.
  • Virtual Battle Ships

    Wed 02 Dec 2020

We loved taking part in the pilot game of inter school battleships today against Castle Wood Academy.  It was a great game, and we were delighted to win!

We have been inspired to hold our own inter class tournament before the end of term!

  • Rudy's Run

    Tue 01 Dec 2020
We had a great time taking part in Rudy’s Run today. The children looked fantastic in their reindeer antlers and enjoyed being outside in the winter sun. Thank you to Mr Andrews for organising it and to everyone who has sponsored us to help raise money for St Barnabas Hospice.  We raised over £1000, which is an incredible amount!
