Home Learning Project Term 4

Happily Ever After????

Your Home Learning Project:

Thinking back to what we've been looking at this term, I would you to begin your; 'Happily Ever After?' project.

We only scratched the surface when looking at traditional tales this term and now I want you to investigate this imaginative world even further! I want you to explore some of your favourite tales and present your findings in any way you can! You might want to....

  • Investigate a traditional tale and write an alternative ending!
  • Produce character profile reports on your favourite villains, heroes or heroines.
  • Design, plan and build your own fairy tale setting from junk and scrap (take a photo!)
  • Act out a scene from your favourite tale
  • Create a book review on a traditional tale
  • Sketch a character
  • Design or build a home that could never been blown over by a wolf!
  • Bake some ginger bread men and write down the instructions.
  • Completely create a whole new fairy tale!

There is no ending to where this project can take you! If you can record what you've done in your home learning book, in a folder, on a memory stick, then great! If not, then just make sure you enjoy what you do!

Let's see how imaginative we can be and more importantly let's see if those fairy tale characters really do live happily ever after...
