I hope you are all really well and doing lots of fun things at home with your families.
There's lots f new activities and learning on our page this week. English and Maths for each day and one or two extra challenges that you might like to try.
Whatever you have a go at, do as much as you can and remember to send some pictures of anything you have enjoyed or are proud of using our class email.
Missing you all lots!
This week you might like to explore a new or favourite author using the authorfy website we visited on world book day. Instructions for how to access the site are on the document below. You could find out lots about the author you have chosen and try one of their writing challenges.
The International Space Station Challenge
The international Space Station is visible in the skies over Lincoln this week as it circles the earth. Your challenge is to see if you and your family can spot the station from your garden on one of the evenings it is visible. It appears as a bright light in the sky that looks a bit like a star. It does not flash and it moves quite quickly across the sky.
The times it is visible are below and if you want to find out more you can visit the NASA website.

This week in maths we are going to revisit our topic of measures. We worked really hard on this a few weeks ago so you should feel really confident with lots of the activities on the wroksheets.
You may also want to give your brain a workout with these daily arithmetic workouts. There are a handful of questions to revise each day. Good luck!
This week we will be finishing off our work with the Harry Potter books. Do as much as you can each day and enjoy the stories.
Don't forget to keep practising your spellings! The document below has all our spelling patterns on from this year and the Year 5 and 6 spelling list. Think about all the strategies we have used in class to help you practise and give some of them a go.
Website of the Week:
This week the website that you might like to try is 'Geography Games'. It's a site with lots of games and quizzes linked to Geography topics. Lots of the games are challenging and really good fun. Take a look and see what you think!
