Home Learning Week Commencing 04.05.20

Welcome to your home learning this week!

Hello everybody, I hope you got on well with your learning last week. Thank you to those who have emailed showing me their amazing work, it is so lovely to see!

On this page you will find a daily English and Maths activity, we will have covered everything on these already in our class learning, so hopefully nothing will be a surprise to you!

Most of the work shall be worksheet based, either print these out and stick into your home learning book, or write them up as best you can in your books, that way all your home learning is kept organised in one place!

On this page you shall also find three projects!

As well as our ongoing projects of Charanga and Living Things and Their Habitats, we have also got a new project all about The Vikings! There's lots of creative activities to have a go at and research!

Please remember to keep accessing TTRocks and Spelling Shed to keep up the amazing work you have already done!

Remember if there is anything you are unsure about, or would like to show me some of your amazing work- I'd love to see it! Please email:

Maths Home Learning!

This week for your maths home learning I would like us to focus on square, cube and prime numbers!

Remember your times table knowledge is really going to help you here! Keep going on TTRocks, this is a really fun and simple way to help retain what you have already learnt!

English Home Learning!

For your English this week there are a variety of activities including grammar, reading comprehension and writing tasks. Remember that BBC Bitesize is a really useful resource if you are stuck at all on any of the terminology!

The Vikings Project!

On this document you shall find loads of fun, creative activities all to do with the Vikings! If you visited York on the residential trip last year, you may recall some facts that you learnt about the Vikings at the Jovik centre!

Charanga Project!

During our music lessons we often use the programme Charanga to guide us, Mrs Hodges has very kindly set up our own class page for us to be able to do some music!

The document below outlines how you can access Charanga.

Living Things and Their Habitats Project

On this document you shall find a multitude of different activities for you to complete as part of your learning. They focus on the different areas, which we would have covered this term for our Science!

Where can I look for help? What if I need more to do?

Below, I have created a document showing some really useful websites to continue your learning! These websites will help you to secure your learning in what we've already covered this year, or discover something completely new!
