General Message from School

Home Learning Arrangements from June

Thank you for all the support you have given your children and the school over the last few weeks while we have been providing home learning for all children.

Now that more children are starting to attend school, there are some changes to the way that the home learning will be organised.  This is necessary because more staff are in school and fewer staff are available to support home learning.

All home learning from 1st June can be found on the year group pages of the school website.

https://www.sturtonbystow.org.uk/year-group-pages-1st-june-onwards/

These will be in place of the existing class pages.

Reception and Year 1

Please use the Oak National Academy (Reception and Year 1) and BBC Bitesize (Year 1) for support with home learning for those children who are not returning to school at the moment.

Years 2 and 3

Miss Evans will be planning and preparing the home learning for these year groups.

There will be maths, English and other activities on the year group pages.

For any questions specific to the home learning, please email RedArrows@sturton-by-stow.lincs.sch.uk.

Years 4, 5 and 6

Mrs Bateman will be planning and preparing the home learning for these year groups.

There will be maths, English and other activities on the year group pages.

For any questions specific to the home learning, please email Spitfires@sturton-by-stow.lincs.sch.uk.

Key worker and vulnerable children

The adults working with these children will support them to complete their home learning in school each morning, and will then be supporting the children’s learning in other curriculum areas each afternoon.

Thank you once again for your fantastic support over the last few weeks.

Please continue to share your child’s home learning with us – we love seeing what they are getting up to.
